Why I Create

I create work intended to endure - both as a visual record and as a carefully made piece of art. My practice is grounded in long-term relationships and close collaboration with the people and communities I photograph, particularly in Cambodia, allowing the work to be shaped by trust and presence over time.

For me, photography functions as both documentation and preservation. Through limited-edition photo books and fine art prints, l aim to safeguard cultural memory while supporting ongoing education, outreach, and humanitarian initiatives connected to each body of work.

Each project is approached with intention and produced in thoughtfully considered editions using museum-quality materials. These photographs and books are not created as isolated images, but as part of a larger, cohesive archive, made for collectors who value work designed to hold lasting meaning and relevance.
